Deck the Halls

This past weekend, we took advantage of the mild temperatures we were having and decorated the exterior of our house for Christmas.  Crazy, I know, being that Halloween was 2 weeks ago, but it's better than being pelted with rain or snow in December and trying to hang lights with painfully frozen fingers that don't work very well. 

The kids took naps and Dan and I managed to get the lights strung, the extension cords plugged in, and test everything out before they woke up.  I am looking forward to actually turning them on at night and seeing how everything looks.  Yes, I am a nerd.  Yes I am excited about this.  Yes, I am embracing Christmas this year ever-so-early because I'm usually bah-humbug until about a week before Christmas.
