Blizzard 2011

They said it was coming.  I laughed.  They said it will be big.  I didn't believe it.

This is what we woke up to this morning.
I'm sure there are others MUCH worse off than us, but this snowfall certainly has been record breaking around these parts!  I will be staying inside today.  :)

I'm in Central Illinois and we missed the brunt of the storm. They predicted 16-20 inches but we only got 8! Thank goodness! Have fun with it...hope that little shopping cart snow blower works well! ;-)

Your pictures are amazing. I'm glad to be staying inside today too - well, besides the pictures I went out to get. Uh, you got hit by a deer?? What??

Sara, I have been blog stalking you for quite some time. :) I only recently started blogging (mostly so Ryan could see what we were up to when he is away) but it is kinda addicting...like facebook! I am a total blog stalker! I love seeing your kids and what you guys are up to. They are both so cute and I love Bryce singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, what a cutie! It is such a small world. I see that you are friends with Katie Drake (Wilkerson) on facebook (we went through the teaching program together at Grand Valley and still stay in touch) and I went to high school with Luke Nieuwenhuis...craziness! Glad you found me! Kara
