One year ago today...

...I was at the hospital absolutely clueless about how much my life was about to change. How can one year go by so fast, but yet seem like it took forever? In one year I have become a mommy, fallen in love with a new guy, witnessed my body do some CRAZY things and return to "somewhat" normal again, learned tons about myself, learned even more about my marriage, quit my job, started the most difficult new job I've ever had, cried more, smiled more, been pooped on, peed on, puked on, stayed awake sleepless nights, developed bionic hearing, gone too many days to count without showering (not in a row), taken one million pictures, and still live to tell about it (to my surprise!)

Looking at these pictures month by month, I cannot believe how big this guy is! I'm not going to lie though, I enjoy him much more now than I did as a newborn. :) I was so lucky to get the best Mother's Day gift one year ago today.

What a year this has been. I'm amazed we have all made it here in one piece. If you've read my blog in the past, you know it has not been pretty. I know I've made a zillion mistakes, and I'm positive I'll make even more as I go. I just have to keep telling myself "I'm not the first person that has done this before". With another on the way, I'm sure my posts will get much more interesting! Stay tuned...
