Is this day really here?
Yep. I blinked...and here we are. School! Ok, so it's only preschool, but it's still school! Well, since we're here, I'll do what I do and take a zillion pictures. :)
"Hey bud, can you lift up your sign so we can see it? Well, now I can't see your face, how about a little lower? Well, now it's a little too low. Can you put it right in front of you?"
PERFECT! What a cool dude! Ready for school. Here's a few more pictures of how the morning went...
Definitely some mixed emotions going on today. So happy that we are able to send him to preschool this year. Excited that he will have more exposure to kids his age and grow and develop socially. Nervous of how he will do with the new routine. Worried about the germs, head lice, cold/flu that could potentially come home with him. Sad that he will be gone two mornings a week, and yet ecstatic that he will be gone two mornings a week. Happy to be able to spend some one on one time with Sydney each week. (today was a fun first day for Syd and I. Took a little walk around Frederick Meijer Garden...pictures of that soon.) All in all...today was a success! Way to go Bryce!

Uggh I had tears in my eyes just thinking about it. I think I have at least 1 more year of my lil girl at home, but next Fall I'll be right there. Change is good right?

Your letter to Bryce made me cry. What a great mom you are to be documenting all your special times with your kids. I so wish I would have done this for you to look back on! Oh well...just know that everything you're feeling...I felt too when you guys left my arms...I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to watch the many firsts in your children's lives...and yours as well. Love you guys...Way to go Brycy Boy!....Love Grandma (GaGa)
