Project Life | Week 17

Kind of a quiet week around here. It rained...A LOT...so we didn't have much to do, and I didnt feel like doing much.  So...that worked out.

We did get a sliver of sun on monday, and it was fantastic.  Love seeing my flowers popping up.  It sure makes me appreciate Spring and making it through a very long, dreary winter.

The rain stopped momentarily this evening and the sunshine was beautiful up against the dark grey clouds.

We've been working on B's potty training lately.  I thought a potty chart would help him to visualize his progress. Clearly we need more work in a certain area.  Can you guess where that would be?

Bryce looked out the window and said "Mama...look, DUCKS!"  My first thought was that I needed to work with him on his birds, because there is no way we have ducks on our patio.  Sure enough! 

Yes, I was one of those crazies up at 5:00am watching the stinkin Royal Wedding.  Not by choice though, may I add.  Dan was up already and woke me up to mock me and ask if I was getting up to watch it.  After some half asleep snotty reply, I rolled over and went back to bed.  (or at least I tried)  I could NOT fall back asleep, so I gave in and went downstairs to watch.  It actually was pretty cool.

Spent lots of time outside today.  Dan was working all day, so I wanted to keep the kids entertained.  It was pretty windy, but nothing stops Bryce.  He LOVES playing in the sandbox with all his tractors right now.

Project Life | Week 16

Week 16 already?  Wow, this year is flying by!

It was kind of a weird week for me.  Somehow, I kept forgetting to take pictures.  I figured that with the Easter Festivities, I would certainly take lots of pictures, which I did.  I just picked a few of my favorite to fill up the week.  I just did one 4x6 journaling card for the whole week. 

Left Side

Worked on a few blog designs for some friends, Rain Boots, flowers my hubby and favorite little boy picked up for me to cheer me up, fire with the neighbors, and our new nephew Joshua!  Congrats Jeff and Emily (and Big Brother Ben!)

Right Side

 5x7 insert with Family Easter picture and cute little card the kiddos got from their friend Benzo.

I used Ali Edwards Designer Digitals 6x4 Overlays for the photo and the journaling.   I LOVE these!

Mostly Easter Pics here.  Kids on the Easter Egg hunt, little Easter Craft I made, Bryce and Dada on the tractor at Mee-Maw and Papa's house and Ben holiding his adorable new little Brother.

April 4-April 10 (week 14)

I have decided to start doing all my Project Life Tuesday posts over here from now on.  Keeping up two blogs seems a little much, so everything will (hopefully) be combined into one. 

I've archived all my Project Life posts for 2011 under the Project Life tab at the top. (you know, if you are really bored!)

I was hoping to get to Costco before today to pick up my prints and get a picture of my layout for the week.  Not so much.  So here are our photos from last week:

Caught the kiddos actually playing quietly and nicely together (ok, it was only parallel play, but there was no screaming or fighting.)

Is it redundant to have your project life picture be about project life?  Spent the morning catching up on two weeks of my photos and put together my journaling for our Savannah trip.  Very happy with the results.

Met Mee-maw and Papa and the cousins at Spring Lake Aquatic Center to swim and celebrate Makenna's birthday.  (missed A&A because they were still changing...and Ben of course)  Bryce and Syd had a blast!

Hung out with Cortney and Aiden for the morning.  She was also nice enough to meet me at the dealership so I could leave my car for an oil change while we were out.  This is our circus packed up and ready to cruise around. 

Syd had her 18 month well visit today.  Such a big girl! :)  Thankfully we were just a few days shy of her next shot, so we were able to get out of there quickly and without tears.

The kids and I drove over to Meg's to celebrate Madi's 4th birthday.  (she and Nate are rocking out the Dance game on the wii)  It was a nice afternoon playing with cousins and catching up with family.

Today we were blessed with the most beautiful Sunday ever!  We spent the entire day outside and loved every single second of it.  Played, grilled, relaxed and even had a fire too!  Great way to end the week.
